VENETO

One of the largest regions and situated perfectly to be the ancient maritime headquarters and entry point of the east into the west, Veneto has its capital in Venice where you'll find all the cuisine that typifies this region’s food. The world is familiar with many dishes as well as wines and typical produce coming from Veneto: think of Asiago cheese, a whole range of cured meats like sopressa and the prosciutti from the mountains, wines like Prosecco or Amarone della Valpolicella and, of course, Tiramisú!                                           

You can expect to start the night off with a Spritz all'Aperol or al Campari and see various interpretations of baccalà, the salted cod. A focus on fruits of the sea in antipasti, pastas and mains as well as risotti with earthier influences from the terra ferma. Deeper tastes are not uncommon with mushrooms and game and slow cooked recipes coming from all over the Dolomites and from the isolate hills of the Pianura.
